Popcorn Awards Are Here! Available for pickup: Popcorn Kernel Sheri Dolejs reports that our scout's Gift Cards, Patches, and Zyclones are ready for delivery! Pick them up at the Gerber's home this Sunday, January 22 from 6 - 8 PM, or else Monday, January 23 from 9 - 11 AM. Anyone who cannot pick up their awards on those dates, can see Sheri at the Pinewood Derby for final distribution. Thanks again for everyone's hard work, positive attitude, and great sales! This was our best year ever! Pinewood Derby Tonight Friday January 27, 2012 You won't believe the huge four lane race track that we will set up in the Steeple Run gym! Complete with electronic timing and race results posted up on the big screen. Play by play announcing, music, pizza by the slice, and trophies for everyone! Pinewood Derby weigh-in will be held in the Steeple Run lobby from 6:00 to 6:55 PM, so don't be late! The Races start at 7:00 PM sharp, with Den 1 Tigers performing our flag ceremony. See the January Events section for the Official Rules and the results from last year's Derby. Do you think Simas win again or will YOU be this year's big winner? Cool February Events Check it out! Wow, see the Events Section: A hike at Naperville's LakeWalk on Aurora Rd, Tubing at Mt. Hoy, Scouting for Food to help the needy, and a magical Blue and Gold dinner! Blue and Gold Friday February 10, 2012 Sign up for our spectacular Blue and Gold dinner and show is now under way! Join us as we celebrate our Den 5 Webelos graduation into Boy Scouts and enjoy the magical entertainment of Chris McBrien. Chris is one of Chicagoland's most talented and favorite magicians, who loves to perform for Scouts. Doors open at 6:00, dinner is at 6:30, followed by the show. You don't want to miss this, so be sure reserve the date on your calendars now. Check out the February Events section for details and look for the signup sheet at the Pinewood Derby tonight. Macy's Adventure Passes Each year, the Lisle and Naperville libraries offer Macy's Museum Adventure Passes for free admission to a long list of Chicagoland attractions.
